Soundwaves Entertainment (Chris Pyle) did
a wonderful job. I was so pleased. This is one thing I would definitely
NOT change!!! Prior to my wedding day, Chris was very helpful in working
with me to organize the flow of the reception. He has a great deal of
experience so he knew just what needed to be done and was willing to
work with the concept of the reception for which I was aiming. He was
willing to find any song that I requested and already had a expansive
library of music. He even found an old-time tune for which I am named
because this was the song to which my dad and I wished to dance. Chris
came highly recommended from my reception site and from other reception
sites I considered. I was worried about a DJ taking over the show but
this was not the case. The music was perfect. My guests loved it!!
People wanted to start dancing right away after dinner. My aunt even
said to me, "I love the music he is playing, I just want to dance!
I hope he plays good music like this all night." Chris did. He really
read the crowd and had people on the dance floor dancing all night!! We
even extended for a 5th hour (we already had him booked for 4 hrs.
the price was so reasonable).
People of all ages were on the dance floor and people I don't typically
see dance. I had checked out many DJ's but Soundwaves was
the best price and also the most personable. I find
myself recommending Soundwaves and Chris Pyle to all the future brides
with whom I speak. I plan to use Soundwaves for big events in the future
such as an anniversary party for my parents!!! If you are looking for

Owner DJ/MC, Chris Pyle is a Graduate of Spring Grove High School and holds a degree in Broadcasting. While in high school Chris worked as a DJ at a local roller skating rink (Roller Way) and an under 21 dance club that he helped to establish. Chris has also worked at several local area radio stations as an On-Air Personality and as Music Director. As Music Director he worked closely with major Record Company Representatives that promote their artists and new music. Chris began his career in Radio at age 18 working at WGTY in Gettysburg, WHVR AM and WYCR FM (98YCR) in Hanover, working part-time while attending the Broadcasting Institute of Maryland in Baltimore. Upon graduation he was granted an FCC license. Chris also worked Full Time at Top 40 radio stations in Chambersburg, Pa. and Virginia and North Carolina before returning home to York, Pa. to start a family and start DJ'ing Full-Time and re-establish Soundwaves Entertainment. Since the age of 15, Chris has entertained at over 7,000 events, one at a time. Chris will take the time to meet with you to help you plan your event and offer suggestions based on his experience as a Radio personality, D.J. and Master Of Ceremonies. This experience will help to insure the success of your special occasion or celebration.

Soundwaves Entertainment employees Five Full-time DJ's. Our Full-Time DJ's have been with us for over 10 years and perform and entertain at weddings and events every weekend. Most of our DJ's have prior experience in the radio or televisions industries or backgrounds in electronics or previous public speaking experience. All of Soundwaves DJ's have been personally trained by owner and DJ Chris Pyle. We have received many compliments and "Thank You" letters and emails from our many satisfied clients regarding their work over the years. We are also highly recommended by many local caterer's and banquet manager's such as Altland House, Heritage Hills, Outdoor Country Club, The Country Club Of York, The Links At Gettysburg and Wisehaven.
