Tony Gerecht started in the DJ business
when he was only 13! Tony performed at his very first wedding reception
at the young age of 17. After graduating from Owings Mills High
School Tony started playing in local clubs and hot spots in and around
the Baltimore area. Having a passion for people and getting them up and
dancing has always been his specialty. In 1999 Tony moved to the York
area but continued playing Baltimore clubs for the next 4 years.
Having a daughter getting ready to start school put a damper on late
nights, so he reluctantly withdrew from what he loved doing. Tony
found a way to stay connected and involved by volunteering his services
at the Southern York YMCA's Skating Rink on Friday nights. Tony has also
found his calling at a well known place of worship in York as an audio/
video technician. His father always told him "Once you find your passion
in life, it's all you'll ever need"! Tony's passion for music and people
brought him back to DJ'ing again and he has been enjoying it ever since.
Tony brings many incredible talents to every event. He has a
smooth and polished emcee style, a pleasant and powerful voice, and an
ability to get people moving and dancing and keep them on the floor!
With his humbleness and years of experience he can entertain at any type
of function. “The best part about being a DJ,” he tells us, “is seeing
everyone having a great time and knowing you are a part of it.” Tony is
the perfect DJ for weddings, church functions, anniversary or birthday
parties or any special occasion. Call or Email us today to schedule a
personal consultation with Tony. 717-225-5562 or Soundwdj@comcast.net
